ServiceExcellent trip manager, well informed, pleasant and organized. Not happy with Oak Island hotel/resort. No other options for on your own meals. Group farewell dinner was lukewarm. Not an ideal property. Hotel in Charlottetown provided a poor breakfast buffet. Group too large, at 44. Took a long time to load and unload participants with only one door at the front of the bus.

sometimes in the worst of circumstances, you find the best in Collette

Serviceour tour was sadly interrupted by hurricane Dorian. While parts of our itinerary had to change due to closure of bridges, cancellations of ferry service, power outages & a lot of property damage, Collette & especially our tour manager went way above and beyond to find excellent alternative accommodations, group meals and sights/activities to mitigate the changes mother nature necessitated ... incl. doubling back/changing our itinerary to see a few of the tours highlights that were unavailable days before.

TourWhat's best about Collette is that they want you to learn & experience on their tours, not just sightsee & take pictures. I really enjoyed Peggy's Cove, Alexander Graham Bell's museum, the Hopewell Rocks, our kilt wearing local tour guide's walking tour of Lunenburg, the local tour guide & strolling minstrel performers on the Fundy trail, the St. John farmers market...and so many more. The morning of Hurricane Dorian, our tour manager was able to find us a Loyalist House/Museum open that "welcomed" a group of 40 with no notice, that turned out to be a cool addition to our tour. ….on another day, a group lunch was sabotaged as no place on our route had power. Our tour manager called every restaurant possible.... ended up finding an old small town converted movie theatre turned bar & grill that provided our group of 40, with no notice, a fantastic lunch. More than a vacation......an adventure I will most fondly never forget
