The extension flight from Nice to Paris was a huge problem. The airport did finally fix the problem but it was extremely stressful. The airport said our flight was not even listed. They had to find a flight for 6 of us. The other 2 came into Paris so much later and one of those people did not have his bag until the 2nd dsy in Paris. What a nightmare!

Would prefer direct flights even if costs more. I am 68 yes old and the fatigue caused by not direct flights, is too much. Really turned me off. Also our flight for excursion to Paris was not booked!!! We were all separated and had to book our own flights.. Very poor on your part.

There was very little Stravinsky tour on the "tour". Not a bit of history, economics, culture or even restaurant recommendations. We were taken to places and told where and when to meet back and told to go ,"discover"on our own. We've been to 45 countries mostly with Grand Circle and we know it's supposed to be a lot more guided. Go my yourself and save the money if you want to look it up yourself online.

Amazing tour guide (BenVale). Beautiful hotel with great central location, 5 star food - all around trip of a lifetime. Loved all the locations we visited, Caanes, Monte Carlo, Rotheshield mansion and gardens, and mu husbands favorite St Paul de Vence.

The first week in Nice, France on the Riviera was wonderful. Then went on the extension to Paris with 8 others from our group. The first day in Paris Myself and another man were robbed in the Metro leaving us with no cash. The rest of the time we used the Hop-On Hop Off bus to tour Paris which was much safer. Collette should not take elderly people on the "Metro" which is a haven for thieves. Metro is a dangerous means of transportation in Paris. Googled it and crime on Metro us up 200%!

Christian is the reason the tour was so enjoyable. His attention to requests and needs for help were second to none...... he's a great tour guide!!!! Vincenzo (bus driver) did an excellent job; don't know how he was able to navigate those tight streets but he did a great job.

Tour manager was exceptional. Right amount of travel by bus and walking. Enjoyed the hotel. Great experience for my first trip to Europe.

Overall, the trip was very good. The hotel was was very nice, comfortable and clean and a good location. I wish there had been more included meals for two reasons....1. it allows people to get to know each other faster and 2. it makes the dining experience much more authentic. It was very disappointing that the Carnival was cancelled, but I know that is not Collette's fault. Some of the markets we went to were really very junky and it would have been nice to have had our boat ride in a much nicer boat. Although we visited a lot of places I felt like a lot of our free time was left wandering and shopping and although I love to shop I would have liked to have known more things we could have seen. For example, one place we stopped had a free Santon museum and also the Fragonand sp?? museum, we did walk through them but that was just because we stumbled upon them. Our guide was wonderful, the bus trips were wonderful, there were just some days that I wish the content had been more of an cultural experience.

Our guide really went above and beyond to arrange things and help us to have a positive experience. Everything went fairly smoothly, except for one of the trips where we were on a bus for over three hours with no bathroom breaks- some unhappy ladies! That needs to be changed. Overall, I had a fantastic trip.

We foung the tours rough and not for Senior Citzens. The two tours we were on the alloted free time could have been shorter, Although we some what enjoyed Monaco. and why the Casino was part of the tour was not enjoyable for us.

Our tour guide, Petra, was excellent. I have trouble walking and she was very helpful in maximizing my pleasure on the trip. The itinerary was very good though a bit strenuous.

The scenery was beautiful I loved the open air markets in each city-St, Tropez being my least favorite I did not go the Cannes as Petra though the trip would be too strenuous for me. But I enjoyed the extra day in Nice, taking a spa day at the Spa Splendid.

Had a very good tour guide and the places were interested that we visited. The meals that was provided was horrible. Not well prepared and took too long to serve, seemed the restaurants were overwhelmed with our size of group. Do a better job of insuring that the itinerary provided is accurate and not being changed the day we are to visit. There also needs to be an activity level, because many times half of our group did not participate because of the amount of walking and the terrain involved.

Our tour guide Colette was amazing. She was so knowledgeable about each destination and very patient with everyone. Loved that we stayed in 1 hotel throughout and did the day trips versus packing and unpacking.

The overall tour was excellent as it hit all of the major towns that we were interested in. Hard to say a favorite as they were all amazing but probably our day in Cannes and Antibes as well as the tour of the Rothschild estate was our favorite.

Collette was Excellent tour guide. Hotel and meals good for price paid. Way too intense of pace. definitely should has not booked full day Aux en Provence tour as it was exhausting with Candy factory not worth a stop. Needed fewer stops or more free hours n South of France to fully enjoy it. Disliked the many switches to flight schedules. return itinerary was 20 hours and definitely not schedule I agreed to at booking.

I actually thought Collette's service throughout the entire trip was excellent. Our tour director was absolutely excellent as well, and made the trip very enjoyable. The hotel was wonderful, and we loved being able to stay in one place for the duration of the trip. However, I cannot give five stars because of one significant issue. The tour itself was a very high-energy, very active, very mobile tour with a lot of events packed into each day; and a great deal of walking on all of the excursions - a lot involving going up & down hills. There was no mention of any of this in the tour brochure; and when my 88-year old mother and I asked the local representative about how active a trip it would be --- she assured us that it was moderate. It was by NO MEANS moderate. There were several other older ladies on the same trip, and they also struggled with the jam-packed schedule and high level of walking/activity on the excursions. Surely that should have been made clear in the brochures and pre-presentations regarding the trip??

Had my 88-year old mother and I had any idea about how active and demanding this trip was --- we would never have signed up. It was much too physically demanding for her, and she struggled to keep up. I, myself, had no problem with the activity level, and would have thoroughly enjoyed the trip, had I not been worried about my mother. I would definitely travel again with Collette --- but, urge you to ensure that the trip fitness requirements are made very clear from the beginning.

Javier was an exceptional travel director - best ever - and the French Riviera tour was fabulous! Having a single hotel for the duration -- in Nice within easy walking distance to the Promenade - made for an especially relaxing and worry-free journey.

Great trip. Just enough of a mix between group touring and free time. It would have been nice to have a happy hour on the first night to have an opportunity to mingle more. The group dinner restaurant the first night was not of good quality. Would have been nice to have suggested beach shoes to be prepared for the "beach" in Nice.
