We are actively monitoring the discussions in Congress over federal funding, and the potential impact on our tours visiting Federal Sites & National Parks across the United States.

Without an agreement between the House, Senate and White House, the government will shut down on Saturday September 30, 2023 at midnight. The impact to our Tours will be limited to those visiting some Federal Sites & National Parks across the country. Some states including Utah, Arizona and Colorado have indicated that they will provide the necessary funding to keep the National Parks operating. Other states are considering similar measures.

If we are unable to operate or your tour is altered due to the government shutdown, we will contact you directly prior to departure.

How Responsibility Starts at the Office

Social Responsibility is at the very centre of everything we do here at Collette. We volunteer in our local and global communities, work to reduce our carbon footprint, develop responsible products, and care for the people who work at Collette because they are our most valuable asset.

Our holistic approach to wellness offers a supportive work environment where we encourage and educate our team in the value of adopting a healthy lifestyle and in making the mind, body and spiritual connection.

Our minds can affect how healthy our bodies are so we encourage our employees to clear their mind and challenge themselves each day. Our various monthly wellness topics offer educational information as well as classes such as yoga and meditation to invigorate the mind.

Our comprehensive wellness program offers our employees a state of the art on-site wellness centre, free of charge. Our centre is a fully operational gym with a work out room for instructional classes, cardio equipment, weights, information on nutrition and healthy recipes as well as health and wellness driving to keep our bodies healthy.

Wellness at Collette extends far beyond the gym as well. We offer healthy options in our vending machines, we have plenty of filtered water available and a culture that encourages everyone to go for a walk, hold a meeting outside in our beautiful park, and take the stairs as much as possible.

Giving back to our community is embedded in our culture. Our employees not only volunteer their time for many events such as meal packaging for our Rise Against Hunger campaign but they also motivate themselves to move more by helping others and will compete in 5k's to run, walk or jog to raise money in support of breast cancer research, toys for tots, feeding the hungry and much more. After all, helping others is one of the best ways to keep your own spirts lifted.

By creating a culture of health we are taking care of the people who work at Collette and taking an important first step in meeting our goal of doing good out in the world. Employees who feel supported and cared for extend that same care to our guests and the global community.
