Tour Manager Wesley Glass took a few moments from his busy days leading the Southern Charm tour to stop and film some of the special moments he finds. These are just a few quick snapshots of the sights you’ll see on tour, as you embrace the leisurely pace and charming allure of America’s southeast.

Charleston’s Pineapple Fountain

Charleston, South Carolina’s Waterfront Park stretches out eight acres from the banks of the Cooper River. Here you can find one of the most popular places to snap a picture – the Pineapple Fountain.

Boone Hall Plantation

The Avenue of Oaks is a lavish, ¾ mile road under the spreading boughs of oak trees, leading up to the mansion at Boone Hall Plantation. The beauty of this display contrast sharply with the sobering sight of brick slave’s quarters that line the road just past the oaks.

Forsyth Park

Taking up 30 acres in the heart of Savannah’s Historic District, Forsyth Park is an oasis of moss-draped trees and sunlit lawns. Built in the 1840s, you’ll find the iconic fountain at the centre of the park, it’s picturesque cascades of water and statues of mermaids seeming like something plucked from a French city.

Jekyll Island Club

A private hunting and recreational club built at the turn of the century, the Jekyll Island Club was a winter getaway for America’s rich elite. The club itself ended during World War II, and now Jekyll Island is open to travellers.
