We are actively monitoring the discussions in Congress over federal funding, and the potential impact on our tours visiting Federal Sites & National Parks across the United States.

Without an agreement between the House, Senate and White House, the government will shut down on Saturday September 30, 2023 at midnight. The impact to our Tours will be limited to those visiting some Federal Sites & National Parks across the country. Some states including Utah, Arizona and Colorado have indicated that they will provide the necessary funding to keep the National Parks operating. Other states are considering similar measures.

Summer Travel Discounts for Seniors

QUESTION: With COVID-19 pandemic travel restrictions being lifted, are there new or extended travel discounts for seniors?

ANSWER: While 2020 was a profoundly down year for travel, the good news is senior rewards and discounts are available as tourism and leisure industries rebound. With a little planning and appropriate precautions, seniors should be able to travel in relative safety while enjoying targeted savings in 2021.

Collette Cruise Tours grants AARP members $50 off per person on cruise tours; AMAC members can save between $50 and $100 per person; and Carnival Cruises offers senior fares to those more than 55 on select cruises, just as examples.
