A Travelling Woman's Guide to Looking Stylish

One of the benefits of travelling to Ireland is, believe it or not, the weather. It's cool and breezy climate is perfect for a gals favourite fashion items – scarves, booties, leather coats, wrap sweaters, sun glasses and beachy wind swept hair.

In Ireland, like most of Europe, streets are cobbled, so when considering what to wear in Ireland, think long and hard when selecting shoes. If you're planning to bring sneakers, make it a cute pair, not regular running ones, which will quickly identify you as a 'tourist'. Slip on sneakers are all the rage, so pick up a pair, and fit right in with Europe's avant garde fashion culture. And if not sneakers, a chunky-heeled bootie is adorable with a skirt or rolled jeans.

Scarves are my favourite accessory, and can make or break an outfit. A scarf in Ireland will be your best friend, particularly at places like the Cliffs of Moher when the cool-Atlantic breeze is blowing!

Wrap coats and sweaters are a fashion staple in Ireland's temperate climate. On cooler days you can wrap yourself up tight, but on days when the sun is shining and the wind is calm, leave the jacket or sweater united and enjoy 60 and sunny at its best.
