Pawtucket, RI (July, 22 2019) – Collette, global tour operator, celebrated their 7th annual Founder’s Day – a week that recognizes their founders birthday and is an opportunity for employees to give back to local communities.  This year they teamed up with United Way RI, The Outreach Program, and Gotta Have Sole, along with many others.

More than 225 Collette employees participated in a variety of onsite and offsite volunteer engagements, focusing their efforts on those in the community who are in need, amounting to nearly 460 hours throughout the week. Employees are targeted to distribute 30 thousand meals locally as well as provide local homeless youth with brand new shoes.

“Celebrating Founder’s Day means giving back to the community, which is something that our founder Dan Sullivan Sr. valued throughout his life,” said Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, President of Collette. “We are proud to continue this event in his honor each year.”
