I was pleased with the Tour guide and Bus driver. The food was exceptional, especially in Portugal. The hotel in Fatima was located so perfectly adjacent to the Fatima Shrine. Overall, I had a great experience, however, the problem was flying into Frankfurt and departing from Munich. I had a horrible experience there in both airports. In Frankfurt we went thru a long maze of corridors which are all owned and controlled entry by Lufthansa. We were left in a shuttle for over 25 minutes with doors closed, very little AC and standing too closely to others (males), as we were to board for Portugal. We boarded a smaller aircraft from the rear and front. There was no organized boarding, or assistance from flight attendants. It seemed the passengers that entered the front door, had seats in the back and vice versa. It was a mess. The Germans nationals at airport were not only rude, but very bias. I was shouted at twice, once for asking directions to gate and the other for picking up my own tray at customs. On return the German national at Lufthansa check in point, abrasively told me to lay my wrist watch on my passport and put into tray. As I collected all my belongings from the trays, I checked to make sure I had all my belongs as I did. Five minutes before boarding I realized I was not wearing my Burberry wrist watch, I returned and another Lufthansa employee had it on top of x-ray machine. Now, had I boarded the aircraft, I would not currently have my watch. This was not and act of coincidence, it was intentional and I was disarmed with the interaction of the two prior staff. The first had blatantly pointed me out to him, as she took my boarding pass. There was two other female passengers with dark hair such as mine in our church group, that experienced distain from Lufthansa staff, one passenger was in tears. I will never return to Germany, there are other qualified airlines to fly into Europe that are closer to my destination of choice. We lost too much time flying into Germany and then backtracked to Portugal.. I hope that you choose your carriers wisely if you want Collette to have a fine reputation. I hope you care enough to disassociate yourself from such awful culture of poor service, and lack humanity that these nationals subscribe to. Sincerely, Josephine Torres Moreno

It was all spectacular, Fatima, Lourdes, Montserrat, Barcelona Hotel was amazing. Burgos was so unforgettable. Just reorganize your tours without Lufthansa, they spoiled what could have been a Dream vacation.

Kept to the schedules. Pace suited for the quick as well as the less mobile. Had right blend of activity and rest breaks Right amount of free time. Rooms and meals were good. Tour guide and driver were excellent Father Brian was a joy Loi worked hard to keep everyone happy

Lady of Lourdes and the hotel accomondatios were excellent.

The tour was everything we expected. We visited cities, shrines and castles that were magnificent. Our tour guide, Angela, and our bus driver Ricardo were not only knowledgeable, but extremely patient with the special needs of our group. The food and wine were delicious, and wonderfully presented.

Even the rain in Spain could not dampen our spirits or the unforgettable memories this tour created.

The tour manager, Angela, and the bus driver, Ricky, were amazing. My wife and I are very happy overall.

Tour was good. It was a faster pace than what we would have preferred but we understand that was an innate part of the extensive trip schedule. The communication was below average. I enjoyed working with our onsite Collette rep and our tour guide was great, but working with the office rep was mostly frustrating. One of the reasons we went with a tour company was to help mitigate the stress that accompanies travel planning, sadly this wasn’t always the case.

Destinations were great. Accommodations were average and nicely located, but we spent too much time on the bus and in transit. We would have loved to spend more time at some of the destinations. One of the reasons we selected this itinerary was for the visit to the Holy Family Basilica in Barcelona, but we only got to spend an hour onsite.

I was very upset that Colette separated me from my husband in our seats in the airplane from New York (JFK) to Lisbon. we both got middle seats and ONE ROW apart...I cannot even be able to talk to him. This was acceptable and Colette should have been on top of this. I went to many international tours but the is the first time the Tour company separated me that much. Everybody was seated next to their friend or spouse except us. i liked the locations of hotels, the provided food was great. The goodbye dinner in restaurant in Paris was not good at all. Even though they say it's Michelin. Please always fly us to the furthest destination and bring us home from the closest airport, because by the end of the trip we are tired and heavier with souvenirs and want to be home. It would have been good to fly back from Fatima. Don't take any Pilgrimage group to Lourdes on a Sunday. Crowded with children from schools. The drivers did great taking us from here to there. Tour manager did her best but the last 2 days I felt she was anxious and ready for the next tour. The tour guide was informed about history but not so much about church and saints stuff...Please I wish if she would smile. Please give her a break of 2 days between tours to rest., it is not fair for her. I felt bad for her since she was going to start another tour the same day we flew back to USA. As for the local tour in Paris, very plaisant and friendly but when it came to the church information in Paris ...she did not know much and I had to get my answers from a nun there, When arrived in Lisieux, the tour manager pointed us to surrounding restaurants, yet they were closed and had to waste time to look for a farther restaurant instead spending time in the convent. I wish if she mentions specific restaurant instead us walking and wasting time looking for one. we were very happy we had internet on the bus ....thanks ..the buses was great. The trip met our expectations, and our tour guide, Rui, was super. All the locations for our overnights were centrally located which made it very easy to walk to restaurants, shopping, and touring.

Visiting Lourdes was the highlight for my wife and me.

The limo service to and from the Chicago airport was great. Our tour manager and our bus driver, however, NOT SO MUCH. I was EXTREMELY disappointed in their selfishness and lack of compassion when we needed them MOST. AFTER our farewell dinner and AFTER everyone filled out evaluation forms RATING them EXTREMELY HIGH and showered them with GENEROUS TIPS, they LEFT US in Barcelona where riots were breaking out. They took the tour bus back to Lisbon where they were from and LEFT US TO FEND FOR OURSELVES AND FIGURE OUT HOW WE WERE GOING TO GET HOME. HOW WE WERE GOING TO GET OUT OF BARCELONA WHERE OUR FLIGHTS WERE CANCELLED DUE TO CHAOS AT THE AIRPORT.

I LOVED VISITING FATIMA & LOURDES. BARCELONA VISIT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELLED/AVOIDED DUE TO PROTESTS GOING ON AT THE TIME OF OUR ARRIVAL. WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN REROUTED TO MADRID FOR A SHORT VISIT OF THAT BEAUTIFUL CITY

I felt the tour was excellent. We had a little trouble with travel the last day but it was due to student protests in Spain and could not be helped. Over I felt the pace was just right, the guide was excellent and I can think of little to change.

The pilgrimage was outstanding! Our tour manager, Angela, did an excellent job! Our bus driver, Alex, did a wonderful job! We enjoyed the entire trip.

The entire tour was excellent. Most memorable was the candlelight processions in Fatima and Lourdes.

The professionalism of both, the tour guide (Angela) and Alex, the bus driver, both were very attend to the needs of the participants. Our tour guide (Angela) is very knowledgeable and she has a great attitude.

Every experience was very memorable. The visit to Fatima, and to Lourdes were very spiritual, Burgos, Carcassonne, Montserrat and the Black Madonna, very informative and impressive, I felt in love with Barcelona, I could live there!!!

Our pilgrimage to Fatima and Lourdes was fabulous. We didn't need to worry about anything: booking, flights, hotels, transportation, walking tours were all arranged. All we needed to do was show up. Collette, and our tour manager, were extremely well prepared and helpful. I loved that we traveled with a small group of 20 from all over the U.S. We became a family looking out for each other in the 9 nines of travel. I would certainly travel with Collette again.

All of the stops on our journey were exquisite. They took my breath away with their beauty. Our tour manager arranged to have Mass said in a church on the spur of the moment. The Sisters were most happy and gracious to receive us into their house of God, and pray/sing with us.

Our guide Rita was amazing! SO knowledgeable, competent, professional, smart and compassionate. She made a great trip spectacular.

Very good tour guide and driver. Good hotels but they could have been closer in to the main attraction sites except Hotel Fatima which is literally across the street from the Shrines. Good followup on questions we had. My birthdate was not entered correctly with the airline so we could not to online check in, and so lost our TSA Pre-Check option. Lengthy bus drives between cities, could have used 1 more day in each location to exploration, prayer, adjustment.

Really needed 1 extra day per site to properly appreciated the areas. Hotels could be closer to actual pilgrimage sites. Great tour guide and driver. Would use them again.

I cannot say anything negative about this trip. I cannot stop talking about this trip and referring Collette to anyone going on a religious pilgrimage. Every part of this trip was perfect. This is from a person who has gone on several trips with other companies before.

Trip went exactly as printed in the information. Trip included Lourdes, Borgos, Fatima, Barcelona, and Montserrat. Whatever you do make sure you go to Montserrat.

The pilgrimage tour was organized and the food was great...but was sad that the tour manager didn’t wait for 3 of us to take the photo shoot with the group at Lourdes ; the hotel room for 3 of us at Barcelona was way too small...also I felt the the optional packages wasn’t worth the money paid...the time given at Monserrat only 45 minutes...not enough time.

The preparation and flow of information in Canada was a bid disorganized.

The guide and driver in Europe were amazing. Very organized, polite and helpful.

Let me start by saying this was the best decision that I have ever made and the best travel experience that I have ever had. This is coming from someone who travels a few times a year for work. I experienced a flight delay for my connection and had to change my entire flight itinerary due to dangerous weather conditions in one of my layovers. When I arrived in Lisbon, Collette had a friendly AND patient driver waiting for me. The airline didn’t deliver my luggage and the tour manager, Pedro Pais, made every effort to make sure that I would be reunited with my belongings. The motorcoach driver was safe professional and pleasant. The tour was phenomenal and I loved every minute of it! I plan to schedule another tour with Collette as soon as my budget and schedule permits.

Pedro Pais (Tour Manager) and Jose (motorcoach driver) were phenomenal. The local guides were amazing. The food was scrumptious. The sites were beyond my wildest imagination. The lodging accommodations were top-notch. I cried happy tears every day! I have to absolutely schedule another tour with Collette.

Every thing was taken care of by Collette. Everything from being picked up at my home to the flights to and from the airport went perfectly. Our tour guide, Cuitano was knowledgeable, very helpful and very interesting as well as funny. I’m planning to go again with my family next time. I can hardly wait.

So much history. So much to see. Caitano made sure we saw as much as possible. Pointing out interesting fact while we were traveling from one place to another. He also played the music of the region to give us a sense of the culture. Tips also about the areas we were traveling through. He felt like an old friend.

The trip was great! The tour guide was well versed in the history of the countries and places we visited. Very knowledgeable. He was always aware of the needs of the people in our group and accommodating when it was necessary. The hotels were nice, spacious and clean. The planned dinners were very good. I would certainly recommend Collette to anyone.

This was my first time traveling with a group and having a structured tour. It was more than I expected. The guide was very knowledgeable, and the sites we visited were awesome. I had two very memorable events, the candle light walk at night in Fatima and Mass at the Grotto in Lourdes. Very emotional moments for me.

Rui, our tour manager did an excellent job of keeping the group together making sure that everyone is all accounted for every time.

We could have included Trevi Fountain in Rome itinerary.

The guide could have used a microphone .,unless you were right next to him you could not hear what was being said...on the bus, on the walking tour...anywhere we went. Then on the 2nd part of the tour he started using headsets. He was not WRe of updates regarding sites; examples, he told group that Pope would not be making an appearance in his Pope mobile. I missed the opportunity of seeing the Pope up close. Another, in Lourdes guide said the Stations of the Cross would be lit up at night so many of us opted to see other venues and wait until night to go on the tour....wrong, the lights were not on, it was too dark and dangerous to try the tour and we missed the opportunity. We were absolutely rushed through most of the entire tour. Our "me" time...there was none. I don't know why we were always waiting for our guide....always on his phone.

Barcelona at night was a joke. It was a ride from hotel to restaurant. The bus was filthy, I could not see out the window and gave up. We zipped by some cathedral couldn't see it and when customers asked for a better view they were denied.

This was an excellent trip. We loved it, especially our guide, Xavier. He is the greatest, Very thoughtful, caring, helpful, and absolutely entertaining!

Hotel in Lourdes was not good.

I had requested a change in return itinerary and discovered -- too late -- that both legs of the trans-Atlantic flights had been changed. I was to have flown UA out of Indy at 2:30 PM, when the only communication I received about transport for out group from Columbus, IN, to Indy was that we had a 1:00 PM pick-up for the 4:45 Delta departure. Not having received word of a special, earlier pick-up for me, I went on the bus with the members of my parish and found out that I had no Delta tix Indy to Lisbon. I could have taken my bags and returned to Columbus, but I did not see that as fair to my group, so I purchased last minute seats on both flights for $3100.00! Not realizing that my return flights had been compromised, i discovered at Barcelona airport that my flights to Munich and from Munich home had also been cancelled. Pedro Pais purchased the Bar-MUC flight for me, and Ryan Fogharty took by credit card info for the MUC-IND return, but that flight did not get charged to my credit card. Still, I was out $3,100 for the eastbound flights, which might have been avoided if 1) I had noticed sooner that the change affected both outbound and inbound flights, and 2) if Collette had notified me of an earlier pick-up, to get me to Indy airport in time for the 2:30 PM United flight. Pedro Pais was one of the best guides I've experienced, so, had I not lost so much $$ on air travel, this would have been one of my two best trips overseas!

I've given the full acount above. I much appreciated, as did all the members of our group, Pedro Pais' arranging for us to celebrate Mass every day of our pilgrimage. We were in beautiful chapels and were always received with warmth and hospitality.

The customer service call in representatives were wonderful. They were able to answer my questions when I called them and were very courteous.

The travel itinerary was very aggressive, and I felt like we were very rushed. I would like to have had more time at Fatima and Lourdes. The tour manager was not very clear on his instructions.

Worth every star. Accommodations were excellent; tour bus driver was a total professional; tour manager was knowledgeable, fun, informed and fully aware of all details at all times. Exceptionally impressive places to see and experience were simply enhanced by the attention to detail that went into this trip. Thank you.

I have to mention just ONE experience? The experience of being at these shrines created from the faith of the pilgrims over the ages is just to incredible for my mere words.

I am sorry, i should have rated Collette service with 5 stars. I was rating the Pilgrimage to Fatima and Lourdes. Everything was wonderful except we should have had 3 nights in Lourdes. It is too exhausting to try to do everything in a day and a half. Our tour manager, Rui went above and beyond his duty in helping me with a problem.

Lourdes was most memorable but I didn't see or do everything there because there was not enough time and to hurry through in a day and a half was too exhausting'

The prep customer service was a bit confusing and slow to respond in some circumstances. There were some communication issues when we reached Portugal. We were left at the airport without transport or guidance for 4 hours after a Collette driver/guide said the didn t have room for us or did show us on his passenger manifest. Customer service from the rep on the trip was fabulous after we started on the trip.

Daily was a very nice addition on the trip. The food, sites, and people of Portugal was great. Fatima shrine and supporting historical sites were interesting. Burgos Spain had many historical sites and guides that did very well in explaining the history and architecture of the city. Hotel dinner and breakfast were awesome. The Hotel stay had some ventilation/temperature issues. To hot for us and other guests with to cold for others. Lourdes shrine was deeply moving. The supporting people, food and sites were very nice. Missed the new immersion pools by two days of opening. But minor detraction. Barcelona was ok. Not many options for finding interesting sites or food options near the hotel we stayed at. Made the most of it and used it as time to get in order for the next day departure home.

Hotel accommodation, meals, transport from my house to the airport back to my house was excellent, the procession, the mass and the scenery are excellent except for the everyday schedules not given to us in writing,

My mom and I had very high hopes for this pilgrimage. From the beginning we had problems with clerical errors, numerous emails and phone calls to straighten out our billing for our trip. Once all the issues were cleared up we thought we’d be on our way. While we did have a wonderful experience overall it was due mainly to our fellow guests. Our tour director,*Personal information removed by Feefo*, was very knowledgeable and engaging throughout the tour. That is until the very last day where we came downstairs to enjoy our last breakfast with the other guests and say our final goodbyes. We were met with *Personal information removed by Feefo* giving us the news that due to a strike all flights to USA were cancelled! We all were in shock when he added that he had given a list with flight information to the 2 fathers (that were part of our group) and *Personal information removed by Feefo* left adding he had another tour starting. Obviously, this left us all basically fending for ourselves as we placed numerous calls to Collette as to accommodation requests, transportation to airport, reimbursement questions, etc. Many of the travelers were older and relied on a few of us with more technology skills to navigate our crummy experience. This really left a bad taste in our minds. No representative showed up to help us when we needed it most! Very disappointing!! Most of us ended up staying 2 extra days with the promise of reimbursement. A few of us were lucky enough to stay at the hotel we were in but the majority of our group had to be bussed off and waited in the lobby until 6 pm to get their new accommodations.

The tour itself was awesome and Gaetano was very knowledgeable and engaging. I feel he had more than his share of guests and he had his hands full. He seemed to take it all in stride and kept us on track to see all we could. Was everything perfect, no, but I feel he did his best to see we were on time for each days destination. The sour note was our last day when most of us were delayed an additional 2 days to go home. Gaetano did not stay to see we all had flights or even accommodations until we were ready to leave. We were only told he had to prepare for his next tour. Was this the truth? And if so, why not send another representative in person to help us? Very bad way to end trip.

This was our first Collette tour and we both enjoyed it. Rubio our Tour Manager was knowledgeable of all three countries we traveled in and the local tour guides filled in the rest. Transportation and hotels were excellent. The food almost made me feel guilty since this was a religious tour.

My wife had always wanted to go to Fatima and this tour was perfect. With knowledgeable guides and perfect hotels we were able to visit the shrines and have mass everyday in locations I could not have imagined. Plenty of information at each stay with enough free time to explore and participate in special events.

As a whole, I very much enjoyed the pilgrimage from Barcelona to Fatima. The food was usually very good. The hotels were very nice, room were extremel6y small but they did serve a purpose. I enjoyed the tours. The tour guide, ***** and the bus driver, ******, were very friendly, cordial and very helpful. Other tour guides as well were very knowledgeable. Actually my only real complaint is not enough time and definitely deserves another pilgrimage. Thank you.

Our tour guide, Susanna and driver, Fernando were superb. Travel was very comfortable and the information provided was both interesting and educational. The two "guest" tour guides, Michaele for Montserrat and Carlotta for Las Huelgas were exceptional for their breadth of knowledge.

Monserrat, Lourdes and Burgos were the most memorable for me.

I would recommend them. Our tour guide was exceptional, however the location of the hotel in Lourdes could have been better.

My fifth Collette trip. As always, good value for money , excellent tour leaders and bus drivers. Many included excursions, great planning and flexibility, and good meals with wine included. The pace is getting to be too much for my 71 year old body, but I recommend your company often.

Everything went very well. The plans were great and right on schedule. The tour guides were helpful and gave lots of good information. We have recommended Colette and would use them again.
