Guided Costa Rica Tours

Macha & Pedro made EVERY experience special! I lovee the coffee plantation...the hanging bridges...tge ZIP LINES!!! I loved the ciffee stop/restroom stop where the 2 red mccawas were in the back tree and an interloper parrot was also there. The giftshop there was amazing and my capuccino was delicious! I loved the beachside hotel where we spent our last 2 days and had sunshine! But...Monteverde or Arnal... the experience was potentiated by Macha & Pedro!!! Don't forget tge restaurant DonRuffino's or the beautiful local artisanscavailable at BRILLANT...next to Tierre y Mar ! EVERY PLACE THEY RECOMMENDED WAS FABULOUS! I am coming back to Costa Rica next June...to help "plant the trees"...which we learned about thru a presentation Macha arranged...I will be looking to hook up at that time to do the other tour Macha leads!

Avery good your despite the rain. The tour guide kept us engaged and motivated during the tour. She has a great personality and passion for her job. The accommodations were excellent! I’d recommend this tour and company many times over!

Our tour manager, Becky, made our trip the most memorable. She connected with everyone and knew how to engage us at another level. Each daily eco tour we went on emersed us in nature and wildlife. Becky's enthusiasm was contagious. I felt like I had a personal assistant always looking out for us, and sharing her culture with us. Now I have to go on another Collette tour to see if they are all like our trip to Costa Rica. We never felt rushed, always knew what was next, and the itinerary was excellent. I especially loved the random stops and local interactions we got to experience.

Our tour manager was excellent. She had a great eye for spotting large and small native flora and fauna. We felt like we saw the best of Costa Rica in a little over a week.

Was a wonderful experience. The tour manager Becky was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to provide help on special requests.

Our tour of Costa Rica was amazing! We saw so many animals and plants on our nature walks and boat rides. The people of Costa Rica were so welcoming. Each resort we stayed at got better and better. Best of all was our guide Becky. She was organized and very knowledgeable. Her love of her country was obvious to all. I loved the size of our group, 23. Our tour bus was brand new and had air conditioning, which was a welcome relief from the heat and humidity.

The jungle was a great experience! Rebecca was a wonderful guide!

It was a most enjoyable trip. Coming back home everyone was anxious waiting to hear about this trip. Costa Rica is a beautiful country, with friendly people, and clean delicious food. Incredibly fortunate I was able to have this experience. The Arenal volcano, the hanging bridges, the beach, it was great!!!

Greatest tour guide ever in Eduardo along with the amazing floura and fauna of the rain forest and the cloud forest. Lodging locations were fantastic.

This was our first Collette tour and there is no reason we would not consider another. Our tour leader was superb and hotels and tours were great. I do not have a favorite experience as everything was varied and enjoyable.

Well, planned adventure trip for the physically fit. I was not able to participate in many of the adventure events because I have a mobility issue that cropped up right before I left. But overall, it was a great trip well planned well executed super good tour manager.

It was an amazing exprience. We could not have had a better guide. The time flew by with all the activities and eating. The trip to Tortuguero was way out of my comfort zone and I loved almost everything about it! Then from there it just got more fun. The weather for the most part cooperated. The hanging bridges, the zip lining, the white water rafting. I mean I loved it all. The food was also a big plus. Even with food allergies, there was always plenty to be had. Costa Rica is a beautiful country filled with wonderful people.

The tour was more than we thought it would be. Everything went smoothly. Accommodations were wonderful. Tour manager went above and beyond all expectations. He was very knowledgeable. would highly recommend Collette for your vacation.

Our tour guide was highly organized and wealth of information. He knew so much about the birds, animals and flora that he qualifies as a naturalist. While all our accommodations were top notch, I prefer those that are walkable to stores/restaurants. Loved the Hanging Bridges and maing tortillas at the farm visit.

The CR tour was one of our best! The guide Juan Carlos, the wildlife, the scenery, the adventurous experiences, the accommodations and the food were all excellent. We would love to do it again!

Accommodation's were step above what I would have booked. Guides were informative and friendly.

Weeks later and still speechless! This trip was so culturally immersive and well planned. Our tour manager was phenomenal and made such an impact on our family. This trip was so educational and my kids loved every single day. 10/10!

Pretrip extension to Tortugero National Park was wonderful. Saw lots of wildlife/birds! Accommodations there were basic. Your guide went above and beyond.

Cloud mountain adventures, both ziplining and hanging brides are my favorite. Although t g ere other adventures that are very much apart of the whole experience. My favorite stay was Nammbu in Guanacaste, loved the view from our room. Beach was a short walk from hotel.

The time spent in Monteverde was wonderful! The hanging bridges and zip lining were fun ways to see the forest canopy! The most memorable were the fabulous people that we got to meet on the tour!
