Venture into the Great Mountain caves by electric train and wander through vast caverns filled with unique pillars, columns, and huge icicles. Later, continue to Ljubljana, the romantic capital city nestled along the banks of the Ljubljanica River. A local expert will introduce you to its parks, sidewalk cafés, and lively central market. See Prešeren Square, historic City Hall, and the city’s many bridges, including the beautiful Dragon Bridge, named for its several statues (the dragon is the city’s symbol). Enjoy free time for lunch and exploring the city at your leisure.
