Travelers departing from Australia & New Zealand can choose to prepay gratuities for their Tour Manager, driver(s), cruise staff when applicable, and local guides including those on optional tours. Gratuities for airport transfers, Tour Extensions, and any services not purchased through Collette are the responsibility of the traveler. In select cases where partner cruise lines automatically charge gratuities for cruise staff to traveler staterooms, Collette does not collect or distribute crew tips on behalf of the traveler.

Enjoy a night out in Madrid! First, walk the streets on a short tour led by your Tour Manager. Then, hop on to Madrid’s subway system and head to your next stop – a local restaurant where you will get acquainted with Spanish cuisine. During your dinner, a “tuna” will perform traditional songs. A tradition that started in Iberia in the 13th century, a “tuna” is a band of university students dressed in black outfits and capes who sing folk music to pay for their school fees. Return back to your hotel having experienced Madrid in a different way!

A leisurely drive through picturesque villages brings you to majestic Montserrat Mountain, soaring 4,320 feet/1,317 meters above sea level. A local guide will lead you on a tour exploring the area's most important sights. While here, stroll the grounds of the 8th-century monastery and see its famous Romanesque sculpture of the "Black Virgin," patron saint of Catalonia. This is also the site of many pilgrimages and where Christopher Columbus brought missionaries to pay homage.
