Too much time on our own. Poor hotel choices except 2.. poor timely pickup from airport in Scotland.and return to airport in England. Too much waiting around. . Train selection had terrible seats. I would not recommend this tour. Luggage in some hotels were not cared for. Last hotel had construction outside and. Cabs not allowed. Poor location in London.Gertrude Wapner Laffler

Loved Edinburgh and Cornwall, but would have liked more time at each location. Should have upgraded rooms at some hotels on the tour, didn't fully realize that when tour was booked. Tour manager and coach driver were excellent! Overall received a great overview of culture in parts of Scotland and England, which was the theme of the tour, and leaves you wanting more exposure!Michael Moore

More walking on even roads than expected. Should have been listed a 4 instead of a 3 activity level. Everything on the phone instead of paper handouts. Luggage delayed many hours for many people.

My first time traveling solo and in a group, two things I never thought I’d do, and it was a great experience! There were planned activities and plenty of free time to do the things that I wanted to do. The hotels were FABULOUS, very well appointed and centrally located. The majority of the included meals were outstanding and the atmosphere created by the tour guide and bus driver made it a very friendly and welcoming experience.Jeanine Oliver

Tour Guide Chris Belsten was the best ever; although all the guides have been good over the years of the dozen Collette trips we have taken. He provided so much great general travelers information ahead of our trip and then through out our travels together. He dealt with my husband's lost luggage and with many other minor issues of other travelrs. The pace was good and the included meals were all delightful. We really couldn't have been happier with the trip! And to be in London so close after the coronation was extra special to see so many flags and general beautiful sites.Sandra Clark

Our tour director was amazing. She explained everything we needed to know before every town and gave us so much history while on the bus. We loved all the architecture of each place and the accents and how it changed from place to place.

Wonderful tour exploring Edinburgh and western England, culminating in London. Every location had a unique culture which we experienced as fully as possible. As I typically independent travel, I appreciated any free time that we got to explore villages. I would’ve enjoyed more free time, yet it was a good balance for people who enjoyed tours. Tammi, the tour manager was well-prepared every day, knowledgeable, yet took a bit of time to warm up to all of us. I would’ve given an excellent rating for hotels with the exception of the London hotel, which seemed to be poorly managed. Overall a wonderful trip and highly recommended.

Great tour stops, tour manager and accomodations. We loved seeing the green country side and the coast of Cornwall. Everything was pretty perfect, including the portage servie, our affable and competent bus driver and the local guides.

The tour surpassed our expectations! Our tour guide, Tami, was Excellent! Very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Our driver Dezzy was a good driver, cautious and personable. I LOVED the Manor in Cotswolds, The Lake District/hike, Cornwall tour and London bus/walking tour. Tour size 22 guests was great.Kim Casane

Overall the tour was very good. Our tour manager and bus drive were excellent; professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Accommodations were clean and comfortable, and all but one (London) were well located for free time exploration. I would have liked to spend more time in Edenborough, and a stop in Stratford on Avon would have been a great addition.

Loved visiting Stonehenge, arranged on my own. Visited the British museum. Wished we had had more time to explore. I wish we had time before hand to customize some excursions instead of the ones suggested by Collette.
