the tour had too much long travel times. Would not recommend it as is.

the tour had too much long travel times. Too much time on bus. The breakfast at the maple sugar was fair, I'd rather have dined at the hotel.. The whale watching was a disaster, overcrowded boat. Had an emergency occurred many old infirmed and children on board would have perished. Our guild was knowledgeable but appeared to many that he was not engaging other than in his duties, not friendly at all except was he was on que. The trip has great promise but needs to be reworked. As is I would nor recommend it. Just considering Collette separately, the company was well organized and I would use them again

Underwhelmed for the 1st time.

We have taken a number of Collette tours. This is the 1st tour I won't recommend. Didn't seem well thought out once we got out of Quebec. Long trips to remote places leaving little to no time to enjoy the location.The whale watching was nice but overcrowded. The trip to the largest log cabin was silly/ made no sense. There was no time to look around the area as we had survey's to fill out and a farewell dinner to attend. We would have spent more time on the survey but we wanted to see at least some of the grounds before dinner. We literally drove past Montreal (where we would depart the next day) to have a farewell dinner. The tour guide was organized but avoided the guests for the most part. The hotels were upscale but the rooms were pedestrian. We really enjoyed Montreal and Quebec and would have liked more time in the area/ day trips. We met a couple who had never been on a tour before and assured them this was not typical of a Collette tour.

As I have already noted, this was by far the poorest planned tour I have ever been on, (Collette, Globus, Princess). We liked Montreal and Quebec and would have liked more time there. The remainder of the trip was to much time spent getting to places with little time to enjoy them.

The tour manager and driver were excellent. They made the trip a very enjoyable experience. Met some wonderful people and saw some very beautiful sites. It is always a pleasure to travel with the Collette team and I look forward to future experiences.

Everything but the most memorable was Quebec and Montebello. The lodge at Montebello was amazing with charm beyond words. The only thing more beautiful would be the surroundings at Christmas.

great hotels would have like to stay more then 1 night at our last hotel THE MONTBELLO we got there so late in the afternoon did not have time to enjoy the grounds and amenities DID NOT CARE FOR THE WHALE WATCHING KIND OF BORING TO ME

Great time in Eastern Canada

Our tour manager (Sarah Swanney) remained organized and informative throughout our trip. Steven, our coach driver was efficient and polite helping to keep the travel time comfortable.

The Collette service was excellent but the group was too large. Within the large group were several groups that came together. Hard to penetrate. Will not travel with Collette again. Group leader should have helped singletons to meet. I should have been told that there were 44 travelers. Way too many!!

Truly a 5-star experience!

This was our first escorted tour trip and it was an amazing experience. Our tour director and bus driver were both so knowledgeable and helpful. From the moment we booked until the very end of the trip all details of traveling were taken care of. We had nothing to do but enjoy!

We learned so much about Quebec and stayed in gorgeous hotels. I loved Quebec City...the architecture, quaint streets and shops, the view from the Hotel Frontenac, the many street performers and delicious cuisine. Hotel breakfast buffets were extraordinary!

Charming hotels

From the moment we were picked up from the airport until the end of the tour everything was very organized and went very well. The choices for hotels were excellent. Three Fairmont Hotels in one tour was wonderful.

We especially enjoyed the tour to Montmorency Falls. The beauty of natural wonders was awe inspiring. The only suggestion I would have for improvement was the transfer from the last hotel to the airport. There were two limos at 7:45 a.m. The other limo only had 6 people whereas our limo squeezed 12 people into one limo for almost 2 hours of riding in extremely cramped seating. It was miserable. Some people in our limo left at 7:45 and their flight wasn't until 1:30 so even though they had to wait for the others to disembark at the other terminal, it was possible to move them to the other limo. We were divided by terminals. The other suggestion for improvement would be to change the arrangement of hotels. We had almost 8 hours of riding in a bus on the second to the last day. That was much too long to be spending in a bus on one day.

The day to the island to visit woodworking display was a waste of time I would rather have another day in Quebec City. Most of the other travelers voiced the same disatification. Excellent bus driver. Comfortable buses. There was several other granddaughters on the which was a great surprise.

1. My roommate and I are from different cities, I declined the home transfer for the $50 credit. My roommate was later offered the home transfer and took it, so I lost my $50 credit. 2.When I booked I told the Collette agent to book my air as soon as my roommate booked her trip. My air was never booked. I didn't know until I was called with a "flight change" which was my roommate's flight.

Pleasant tour, ropey airline, weak guide.

Air Transat uncomfortable journeys - need a better airline to Montreal. Guide *personal details removed by Feefo* was a competant tour manager but had poor knowledge of the tour or Canadian history. On the plus side the coach driver was excellent as were the local guides. This is my 2nd Collette tour but it did not reach the standard of the first.

Quebec province offers a tranquil holiday for the discerning tourist once the masses of Montreal are left behind. Good food, fresh air and a variety of modest sights make this a pleasant trip. Whale watching in the St Lawrence river was good as was our day at the Fairmont Montebello resort

As always, very appreciative of our "door-to-door" feature. Enjoyed the comraderie of our fellow tourers . Particularly impressed with the courtesy and consideration of our tour driver. Thanks for Collette's follow up regarding flight cancellations and rebookings. Altogether a pleasant and relaxing tour.

The tour was everything we expected and more. Our most memorable experience was our brief visit to Ste. Anne de Beaupre. We wish we had more time. Also wanted to experience more of the Chapel Sacre Coeur in Montreal. We wished our tour guide would have dialed down his CONSTANT personal anecdotes and devoted more time getting to know his tourers through their personal anecdotes.

Good start for a new tour but a change could help

I would recommend Collette again. Daniel was a fantastic guide. My reason for not giving this tour a five star is the last stop on this tour. We were in a rustic log lodge 150 kilometers from Montreal and the airport. I think the last night should have been in Montreal as we had so little time in the city at the beginning of the tour and there is so much to see and do. The airport would have been close rather than a hour and half away on a good traffic day.

Not one experience was memorable. There were many experiences. Montreal and Quebec, whale watching, the St. Lawrence itself, the small islands and villages-- all were memorable.

Loved the Chateau Frontenac and the Sheraton in Montreal. Was disappointed with other 2 Fairmount hotels/locations. The tour guide Daniel and the bus driver were excellent and made the trip very enjoyable.

Chateau Frontenanc, Sheraton in Montreal. Very good buffet breakfasts. Daniel arranged for us to check in early and have breakfast the next day. We arrived one day before the tour started. Underground city in Montreal was memorable.
