My favorite memorable experience was when the large elephant walked up to our boat paused then walked past us in peace. My least favorite thing about our tour guide was him talking about politics with an unfavorable attitude. He only need give the facts and leave personal opinions or tones at home. Also when he was dissapointed in the accomidations he should have talken the employee aside and worked things out instead of doing it front of everyone. It made many uncomfortable.

Being out in the jeeps and getting up close to the animals was great. The last day, two male and one female lion appeared and we were able to get a good picture. Looking out at the horizon, there was a full moon and a reddish sunset. A beautiful way to end.

My tour was beyond my expectations. We saw all the big 5! Remarkable!! An average of 2 safaris a day.. also some water safaris.. Accommodations were great.. There we could see animals far away and up close. I enjoyed all the meals there very much. There were restaurants with entertainment…One we could participate in.. we had our own drums at our seat. A favorite was eating in the home and having conversations with different families.

From the bush of Botswana to the mighty Victoria Falls and the beauty of Table Mountain to the enticing wine country of Stellenbosch, it’s an incredible tour brought to life by a tour manager from South Africa. You learn first hand what growing up in Africa is like from apartheid to present. From the beautiful people to the up close encounters with wildlife, it’s the greatest adventure on earth!

Fantastic trip all around. I was very satisfied with the 5 days of safari with the rest of the days being sightseeing, wine country and Victoria Falls. It was a great combination, and every day was a new adventure! We loved it and our tour guide, Shouab (sp?) was fantastic. He took care of our every need and then some. Favorite memorable experience was of course, the safari and seeing the animals. Maybe my most favorite was watching the elephants cross the Chobe River near sunset as well as an elephant drinking from the swimming pool at the Black Rhino Lodge. What an amazing experience.

Our tour guide, Simo, made this trip one of the best ever! The depth of his knowledge about Morocco, its history and culture, was unparalleled. In addition to the main sites we visited, he always made sure to point out lesser known gems—the town known for roses where they make everything from the distilled petals, the ancient ksar with a huge date market inside it, the best spot in the medina to haggle for a suitcase because you don’t have enough room for all the souvenirs! And he did this always with a smile and great sense of humor! Take this trip—you won’t regret it!

East Africa is best from September to January for coastal activities and July or October for the Great Migration.
