Our tour was excellent in cultural, local food, history and personal experiences. Our tour guide, Stephan, was also excellent and he is from Kotor or from The Balkans. The Balkans are still unspoiled by hoards of tourists, the beauty of Kotor, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Lake Bled are stunning as was the level of our local guides except one outing. Sarajevo was a surprise, a pleasant one as for a larger city with a lot of graffiti, the local experience was fascinating especially because of our local guide. He, Suvat, was a child when the 1992 war with Serbia occurred. The impact to his family and his experiences were a reminder of the horrors or war. However, the Bosnians prevailed and Sarajevo has greatly recovered with its rich history like also being where the catalyst for WWI occurred. We saw a beautiful bride prepare to enter City Hall for her first wedding. The tours to a local Olive Farm in Kotor and to Lipica Stud Farm were wondrous experiences. Our tour guide, Sonja, for Plitvice, was a kick. The food at the farm outside Motovun was so fresh and delicious. Great food! It was an excellent tour and we will be booking our next one soon!Gail M.

Overall an enjoyable experience. The local guides were delightful. The accommodations were excellent and particularly enjoyed the Karanac, Croatia location for it's local experience. However, sadly this was not one of my better experiences with Collette, as a past multiple tour client. I am extremely disappointed with the manner in which my pre-tour hotel booking was handled. I was not booked into the hotel requested and upon numerous inquiries was repeatedly assured it was. The TM is one of the MOST Arrogant, Condensing, Disorganized, Egotistical, Rude, Self-centered, Self-serving, men I have ever met. Upon introducing myself to him on night one at dinner...extended my hand to shake...he took...did not shake...did not speak and turned away. This certainly did not set for a friendly or welcoming tone for the tour. There was never an attempt to change or correct the situation. Disappointedly, any future travel with Collette will be given much consideration which was never a question in the past. Collette was always my 1st choice with no questions.Alicia Monahan

This trip was an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Petra, was phenomenal. This tour took me to places I would’ve never gone on my own. I learned so much about this region of the world and I have memories for a lifetime. I recommend this tour without reservation.Nancy
