The two day train ride and Butchart Gardens were the highlights of the trip. We loved everything except for the accommodations in Kamloops and we would have preferred more time in Lake Louise and less in Banff. We loved our tour guide!

Amazing, beautiful scenery…train was everything I was hoping for and MUCH more. The organization of transporting the passengers, service on train, staff on train, cleanliness of train, were all spectacular. Rocky Mountaineer knows what they’re doing to run a very smooth operation! Our accommodations were all superb and motor coach drivers always polite & helpful. My one suggestion would be to either stay 2 nights @ Lake Louise , OR, stop there for lunch & then continue to Banff for 3 nights….. (oh! One more suggestion…during the tour of Vancouver, skip the Market Place…overly crowded & really very limited time for eating…most of my fellow travelers agreed ….perhaps find another place along harbor or in town for a more relaxed lunch…market was like a 3 ring circus…😂 All in all, it was a wonderful trip…our tour manager was very knowledgeable about the area and shared many suggestions and ideas about how to use our free time…he was calm, cool, & collected during our trip!

Train personnel Ryan, Marco, and Nook were incredible!! Amazing food, drinks, and service. The only issue was the delay on day two that cost us our much-anticipated dinner and time at Lake Louise.

Daniel was wonderful. I didn't see that the host did anything. Too much bus. Did not care for Vancouver. It is just a big city. The best part was the Chateau at Lake Louise. I would have liked some walking tours, a hike. I should have researched this more because it was not what I expected. Also never had a chance to sit in a window seat on the train. Expensive trip not to have that opportunity. I was disappointed especially for the price. I have traveled extensively. It did not compare favorably.

Ball was dropped when a positive covid was reported and not passed on to the entire group. I believe all in our group should have been informed so all could take appropriate quarantine.

The schedule for the air transportation was terrible. After arriving and waiting for another group from another plane, Our group just wanted to go to the hotel to rest. It made the trip a bad experience on the first day. I was ready to return home and get my trip refunded.Walter Bohn

Everything was good except I was having trouble walking and everytime we were on the bus, we were, most of the time, close to the back of the bus...I told Kelly about this at the end of the tour....i am short and trying to get to my seat with a cane and my purse was very trying for me,,,that was the only problem we encountered!Barbara Snyder

Was very good with the exceptions mentioned above. Had I not checked into it with Rocky Mountaineer I would have paid for Gold Leaf service which I did not need. This is our 8th Collette trip and we always recommend you to other travelers.Sylvester Sparrow

It was all memorable and well planned. One comment is about the restaurant for the final dinner. Lovely location, good food, good service. However, you need to have that meal in a place that has accommodations for those that cannot do steps. The 35 steps were challenge for many of the people.. I can ordinarily do steps, but by the end of the trip, my knees were so sore and tired, and I would’ve looked forward to accommodations for fewer steps or new steps

The structure was well planned The food was mediocre at best except for the train which was excellent. Train ride too long. Rocky Mountaineer Denver to Moab is much better Banff was a tourist trap. Too much time riding in bus on Vancouver day. More time needed on island in Vancouver. Overall, not worth the money.

Just exciting to be on a train and not have to worry about anything. The crew with Brandon overseeing everything went so smoothly. He had a great sense of humor. Also great knowledge of the area we traveled through. He and Becca first rate The views from the silver car were spectacular.
