Guided United States Tour

See Devil's Tower, Big Horn Sheep, Moose, and Grand Teton's were all outstanding.

Our tour manager was so personable and really took care of us. The Bar Harbor Grand Hotel and Harraseeket Inn were lovely New England hotels. Bar Harbor was our favorite of the places we visited, with Acadia and the lobster boat. We also enjoyed our visit to the Oyster farm. The owner was a fantastic tour guide! We really enjoyed learning about Portland's involvement in America's history. We had never been to New England and this was the perfect introduction.

We were very lucky in that the weather was fantastic on our tour. The highlight for me (and the name of the tour) was Mackinac Island. The Grand Hotel has been on my “bucket list” for many years. To be able to sit on that storied porch and bask in the early Fall sun was wonderful. Jamie, our Tour Manager, was outstanding. I have travelled many times with Collette and he ranks VERY high on my list of memorable tour managers. His attention to detail was off the charts.

Melanie our tour director was fantastic. She knew so many side stories because she lived in the area. She was also so organized.

We absolutely enjoyed our tour! The tour manager was very nice and willing to answer any question we have. The landscape was beautiful and the weather was gorgeous! I would love to go back to the Yellowstone National Park!

This was my first group tour, so even though the reviews were great, I was going by myself and wondered if I would feel comfortable! The guide was wonderful! She was always available for any questions, but with the details of our planned itinerary, any questions had already been explained! Nantucket trip was my favorite! I also loved all the scenery while on the bus! And, I met great people and would certainly travel by myself again from this experience!

One of the best tours ever!!!

The tour was wonderful, including the places not even listed - the Missle Museum and the internment camp. The beauty and diversity of the National Parks was incredible.

Very peaceful fun trip. enjoyed the whole trip. Dawn was so kind to everyone. Our bus driver was excellent also.

All the hotels were exceptional and the tour manager was excellent. The itinerary was very well planned.

The entire trip was wonderful except the weather in Boston as we arrived to begin our trip. Lili Murad is a great tour leader and David did an excellent job of driving us around in the bus. The leaves even cooperated and were beautiful!

Canyons and mountains are amazing.

Linda Rome was wonderful!! !

This tour was my 2nd tour with Collette. There were several times I had to call Collette to have questions I had about the trip. On ALL occasions agents were friendly and most importantly they were helpful. The tour was well designed and I enjoyed touring sites I had not seen before. I especially like visiting West Point, Arlington National Cemetery, the changing of the guard, and New York City. Our tour guide, Chad Nelson was very good! He was knowledgeable and at times went above and beyond what you’d expect. (Ex took groups on walks after dinner both in NY and n Washington, DC), bought masks and cough drops for passengers on the bus, A couple of things I thought could’ve been better were at Valley Forge I would’ve like to have seen where Washington crossed the Delaware, in New York, I would’ve like to have seen the Statue of Liberty, taken a ferry ride or a visit to Ellis Island. I realize this trip could not cover more because of time limitations. I felt the money spent for this trip was reasonable even for a single traveler. Perhaps Collette will be able to offer solo trips in the future at a rate that will entice travelers who are traveling alone. Paying double the fare can and does limit travel for solo travelers.

My favorite thing was the meal on the ship. Would have liked going to Smithsonian. Our guide, Chad Nelson, was wonderful, so knowledgble of the Revolution, friendly, think he enjoyed the trip as much as we did. He was the greatest!! The accommodations were great - nice hotels & wonderful food. I would highly recommend Collette Tours & hope to be able to travel again with them soon.

The Utah Mighty Five was a fantastic tour which started with a fabulous.train trip across the Rockies on the Canyon Spirit. Gorgeous scenery and fabulous food. The Five Utah parks were amazing. Each is different and the tour manager, Heather brought it all together to talk geography, history and landmarks. The add on stops to the petroglyphs outside Moab and Goblin Valley State Park made this a memorable trip.

We enjoyed seeing the musical attractions and the ambience of each city. Our tour manager made each stop special by showing us a short movie and explaining what we would be seeing and some background information. She was very attentive to everyone’s needs and made sure each stop was done without any issues. She was funny, upbeat, and a pleasure to be with for a week. Our driver was an excellent driver and we all agreed we were in good hands as he maneuvered the busy roads and narrow streets. He was pleasant and always on time.

Well planned tour at a relaxed pace. White Mountain was the best, best colors, good weather. Appreciated the all inclusive service such as tip included for LAX transfer. Liked that I didn’t have to fiddle with tip with all my travel gear.

The train trip was awesome. However I would give the food a 'not so great'. I understand the reason for having Las Vegas as the final point but purhaps an included show would make it more intersting. Personally the town adds nothing unless you're a gambler. The farewell dinner was excellant.

Crazy Horse Issue with room reservations. I was traveling with friend and we were incorrectly given a single bed at the first 2 stops. At the 1st stop they were able to change rooms. At the 2nd the hotel was fully booked, however, Katie, our tour guide, changed rooms with us. By the next 2 stops the error had been corrected.
