During her free time, she enjoys antiquing, walking her dog — a Lagotto Romagnolo (that's an Italian breed specialized in truffle hunting), and growing "Pra" basil to make her own homemade pesto.

Our tour manager was the best; humor, organization, and wealth of knowledge. It is hard to choose the best. But, I think I would have to say that Cinque Terre was my favorite place. On the other end, I did not enjoy Parma. Other than the historical attributes, the city was very dirty and lacked the quaintness of everywhere else on this tour.

This was my first trip to Europe, and the tour was perfect for me! We visited so many different areas, with an overview of each. The local guides in most cities provided in depth information about that location. Our tour manager shared her extensive knowledge about each area, and this helped us to learn so much more each day than we would have learned on our own!

The whole tour was terrific and the group was fun and friendly but having Jacopo Surico as our tour manager made the trip the most memorable. His knowledge of history, organizational skills, wit and humor were exceptional! Enjoyed all the fabulous places that we toured and all the recommended restaurants in our free time during the tour. The entire trip was quite memorable , conveniently laid out and guided throughout so as to make for a seamless experience.

The Alps and Dolomites tour was incredible! The mountains and scenery were breathtaking. My favorite highlights were Mont Blanc and Grindelwald. Going to the tops of the peaks was amazing. I highly recommend this tour.

Loved this small group tour of the Alps and the Dolomites. The hotels were beautiful and the small villages were truly charming. My favorite day was visiting Hapkern and seeing how the Alphorns were made. The musicians were wonderful with an Alphorn duet and accordian folk music. We listened while we enjoyed homemade cheese and wine. Very memorable.

Having everything arranged, including airfare, made this a very easy trip. Plus, the price was right. Our tour guide, Mirza, was amazing. His knowledge of history and culture of Italy made every adventure more meaningful. The other travelers on the trip were all amazing and fun adding to a special experience. So many wonderful memories. The meal after the Vatican visit called Roman Serenade was a great experience. Not only the meal, but the musician's engaged the group. It was a great bonding experience early on.

With the narration of our tour guide Mojca, every bus ride every train ride was a constant learning adventure., All our activities and dinners were timed perfectly. Every excursion and meal was delicious, special and exciting. Attention to detail in by all of our dinning experiences were meet with approval. A trip of a lifetime !!!We met so many amazing friends on our bus guided trips. (37) riding on a bus was even a pleasant experience. Would definitely plan another trip with Collette.

Alberto was incredible! Loved all the local guides, the vineyard and wine tasting was amazing. The cooking experience was so fun the hosting family were amazing.

Staying in the same place for the whole tour was great. Alberto, our tour guide was awesome, and included a stop at the WWII CEMETERY, which was a moving experience. And a friend of his offered to get us tickets for an Opera performance one evening in walking distance from the hotel. Having a guide from the local area, who learned a lot about each of us and went the extra mile to care and follow through on any problem was inspiring. I’m looking forward to booking another tour with Collette.

tour began in Italy on border of Switzerland. Hotel in Italy with no AC and 90 degrees was very disappointing. We could not sleep well. Switzerland was wonderful. The entire tour was very good, good excursions, however food including with package except for breakfast foods was limited in choice and amount served. This was a very expensive tour package for this to be an issue. Air schedules returning had way to many airport transfers for the ages touring this trip. Two at the most for the prices paid and ages going. I will state the tours were excellent as well as driver and tour manager. We could have used more free time, perhaps add a day to the tour in a couple villages/towns so travelers can either rest or have time in town for shopping about.

The beauty of Switzerland was breathtaking. Free time spent in towns were nice but not enough free time available with all the wonderful tours. We got to towns late in the day but mode of transportation was the reason for this and we loved the trains. It was trade off of less personal time for the scenery via trains. We enjoyed it all tho.
