It was well-paced with a great general overview of Irish culture and history. Loved the accommodations, particularly the Granville Hotel in Waterford. They went all out for us. The Irish House Party first night entertainment was fun. Other favorites, the jaunting car ride in Killarney, the entire trip around the gorgeous Ring of Kerry with a stop at the Kerry Bog Village. The best part of the trip next to the stunning scenery had to be our outstanding guide Fiona Lane. Along with our able and affable driver Fergal, they embodied Ireland. The provided meals were mostly great, with my favorite being in Limerick, where we chose the Hampton. They had a wonderful selection of appetizers and entrees, and great desserts. My least favorite meal would be the last night at Barberstown Castle, a last minute substitution for Cabra Castle. The hotel was lovely but the 2 entree choices were sea bass or duck, neither a favorite. Also, we were not as happy with the The George in Limerick as the other hotels. The lobby setup was strange. Unfortunately, my husband was sick on day 8 so, rather than leave him alone all day, we both missed the Cliffs of Moher and Galway. Still the trip was a dream. Ireland is a magic place. It wasn't by chance we chose Collette. We were born and brought up in Pawtucket, having met at Tolman HS, and lived there most of our lives. We did a Collette 10 day California in the 80's and a 10 day Texas tour in the 90's, so we know how well you do things.

Cliffs of Mohr was the best part of the tour for me. Something that you cannot put into words. Breathtaking!

Yes I would use Collette again. The tour guide and the bus driver were the best. The hotels all were very nice and all our arrangements were handled well. I felt like sometimes you chinced out, like no water provided (except to purchase) while on the bus, no night of free wine (but for one glass). Keep your Collette pin and key chain in exchange.

The tour guide and bus driver were excellent. The hotels were all nice. Skip the Collette PIn and key chain and give us water on the bus and one special night of wine with dinner. One glass was not good.
