It’s official: our tour Montana: Exploring Big Sky Country is officially up and running! Kicking off a brand-new tour is always exciting, but this one was particularly near and dear to my heart.
For several years now, I and our Design Manager Vinette Digregorio have been wanting to develop a Collette tour series focused on western Montana, so we were thrilled when given the green light to start building the tour for a 2022 season launch.
As a resident of northwest Montana for the last ten years, I couldn’t wait to showcase this amazing place with our travellers. As soon as the 2022 tour dates were released, I marked my calendar with the day our travellers would be rafting and having dinner in West Glacier…which is only about 30 minutes from my house! I was thrilled to drive to West Glacier to surprise the group with beers from local breweries and to have the opportunity to sit down with them for dinner and hear how their trip had been. It was wonderful to hear stories about Yellowstone and Glacier National Park as well as the other little hidden gems of the tour. I found out that Montana had been on each of their bucket lists for quite some time, which made it even more special to see their smiling faces.
