To Paolo, helping travelers experience the joy of travel while sharing his passion for his country is an honor. The perspective he wants to share? Italians are colorful, with lots of heart.
Tour Design Manager
Sandra is Lisbon-born and passionate about travel. She's explored over 55 countries and proudly passed that love on to her two daughters. With over 20 years in the tourism industry, her true passion lies in tour design. Since 2022, she's led tour design at Collette for Portugal, Spain, France, and Morocco, focusing on crafting and continuously improving travel experiences that connect deeply with local cultures.

There is an Icelandic saying "Petta Reddast" which means that 'it will all work out'. I believe that everything worked out so very well with our tour was the result of our tour guide, Marianne (and our bus driver Robert). She went far above and beyond what a typical guide would do. We had a flight delay, a snowstorm and bus malfunction, but we still got to see and do everything we wanted and had a wonderful time! If I am ever back to Iceland, I would request Marianne again.

WWII American Veterans Cemetary, touring the beautiful Tuscany countryside, making pasta, hiking to see monuments, tower of Pisa, cheese farm, Montecatini was wonderful, Siena buildings.

Alessandro Picard our tour manager was one of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been on many European bus tours. He made every day special! He also arranged for our entire group to go the the American WWII cemetery near Florence. My cousin’s uncle had been killed in Italy and was buried there. She wanted to see his grave and had asked Alessandro to arrange a taxi for her during our free time in Florence. Instead he arranged for the entire bus to go. It was a very emotional experience. Everyone was very happy to have seen this place. Mary Ellen was shown the grave. This trip is at the top of my list for my favorite tours.

I loved the Roman extension part of the trip including the optional Roman Serenade dinner with local entertainment. The Tuscany main tour was fantastic with the cooking class being one of my favorite experiences!

The Plitvice Lakes were absolutely beautiful. The time of year was very nice. Less people and you still got to see all the beautiful scenery. Croatia is a beautiful and friendly country.

Everything about this tour was excellent! Jose did an excellent job keeping us on track and well informed. The hotels were excellent, the dinners were wonderful. Although I had many memorable moments, I enjoyed driving through the countryside and our stops along the way to get to the Algarve coast. That was beautiful! I took the extension to Madeira. Such a beautiful island. Our tour guide, Ernesto, did a fabulous job! The hotel was very luxurious.
