The tour was wonderful but needs to be revamped a bit. There is all sorts of news about Gander due to the Broadway play. We stayed in the same hotel in Gander that the crews of the planes stayed in. We needed to talk to some of them. There is a new tour that we should take so we would need more t time in Gander. We stopped at two gorgeous National parks - Terra Nova and Gros More- just stopped because the distance were so far we didn't have enough time because we had to get to a place for lunch. On those days we should have box lunches on the bus and spend more time at the parks.

More active! Too much time driving to spend less than an hour at a national park, for example. No time to hike a trail. This trip was designed for obese couch potatoes, not me.

Best experience was the boat trip to see breeding seabirds and whales.

we were disappointed our tour guide didn't give us more information about the areas we were traveling through during our long stints on the bus. Other folks on the tour felt the same. We know there were a lot of trees , but towns and the surrounding areas that you couldn't see have interesting things, like what do the people do for a living, everyone can't be fishermen. Our last tour guide was a book of knowledge on the areas we went through and there were a lot of trees there too.
