Pawtucket, RI (January 4, 2024) – Collette’s tours to South Africa allow travelers to explore both the wilderness and the region’s rich culture. Travelers can embark on both the “Exploring South Africa, Victoria Falls, and Botswana” and “Wilderness of Southern Africa: Safari by Land and Water” tours to immerse themselves in all that South Africa has to offer.

Over the course of 15 days, travelers are treated to 29 meals as they explore South Africa on Exploring South Africa, Victoria Falls, and Botswana. Some highlights featured on the tour include an authentic bush dinner under the stars in Pilanesberg National Park, a visit to a South African vineyard to sample some local wines, and a visit with a Capetonian family for a home-hosted dinner. Aside from the aforementioned features, the Explorations tour gives travelers plenty of opportunities to take a dive into the local cultures. They’ll be able to enjoy an African Sundowner while they head out on a 4x4 ride into the sunset, pay a visit to an African elephant sanctuary, and take in breathtaking sites during a stop at Victoria Falls. Seats on this tour are still available as early as Sept. 22, 2023, for prices starting at $5,549 USD pp.

As part of the Wilderness of Southern Africa: Safari by Land and Water tour travelers traverse the area in multiple fashions, plus get the chance to dine with locals. On the 13th day of the tour, travelers pay a visit to a local family in Victoria Falls. During the visit they’ll get to enjoy an authentic, simple, home-hosted meal and learn what life is like for the household. Throughout the tour, there isn’t a shortage of opportunities to absorb the wildlife. Travelers get to ride amongst lions, leopards, elephants, and other wildlife unique to Africa on a 4x4. Later in the experience, travelers will embark on a three-night cruise on a safari boat along Lake Kariba. During the cruise, they’ll be able to observe plenty of birdlife and game species that call the area home.

“Our Exploring South Africa, Victoria Falls, and Botswana Explorations tour is a great way for travelers to truly immerse themselves into the local cultures. said Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, Chief Executive at Collette. “Culturally rich experiences like enjoying a home-hosted meal with a Capetonian family, are the reason why our Explorations tours are some of our most popular products.”
