Pawtucket, RI (January 18, 2024) – Collette’s “Patagonia: Edge of the World” tour is perfect for travelers who like to stay active while they’re out exploring. The two-week tour features stops at some tremendous areas for walks and hikes.

Torres Del Paine National Park is one of the continent’s most spectacular national parks and is wildly popular with hikers. It holds over 700 square miles (1813km2) of pure amazement, with mountains, glaciers, lakes, rivers, cliffs, waterfalls, fjords, forests, and grasslands all within its boundaries. It’s got loads of wildlife, including guanacos (related to llamas), pumas, foxes, huemul (South Andean deer), wild horses, condors, eagles, hawks, rheas, and owls.

Also featured is a visit to Los Glaciares National Park, home of Perito Moreno Glacier. The glacier ranges over 19 miles (30.5km) and is an average of 240 feet (73m) tall. This gigantic tower of vibrant ice rests against blue-green waters – an awe-inspiring blanket to the natural world. Travelers will gaze off the shoreline in search of floating icebergs, listening to the resounding crack of ice sheets breaking free as they enjoy a hike or walk.

“One of the most fun ways to exercise is to do so while taking in new, breathtaking views,” said Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, chief executive officer at Collette. “Our ‘Patagonia: Edge of the World’ tour is perfect for any active traveler who wants to get a walk, hike, or even a run in while exploring some beautiful national parks.”
