We are actively monitoring the discussions in Congress over federal funding, and the potential impact on our tours visiting Federal Sites & National Parks across the United States.

Without an agreement between the House, Senate and White House, the government will shut down on Saturday September 30, 2023 at midnight. The impact to our Tours will be limited to those visiting some Federal Sites & National Parks across the country. Some states including Utah, Arizona and Colorado have indicated that they will provide the necessary funding to keep the National Parks operating. Other states are considering similar measures.

If we are unable to operate or your tour is altered due to the government shutdown, we will contact you directly prior to departure.

Ireland’s Cabra Castle stands on 100 acres of gardens and parkland with delightful views over the Cavan countryside, famous for its beautiful lakes.  Formerly known as Cormey Castle, the history of the castle dates back to the pre-Cromwellian times of the 16th century.

The property was bought in the early 19th century by Colonel Joseph Pratt, who rebuilt it and renamed it Cabra Castle.  Its long legacy lends a mature, cultured air to the castle, which can be felt by strolling through the castle’s magnificent hallways and stairwells.

The rooms are outfitted to the highest standards with every comfort and modern facilities. The bar and restaurant offer beautiful views of the Ireland countryside famous for its lakes and fishing, as well as Dun an Ri Forest Park.
