Imagine cruising to the picturesque town of Auvers-sur-Oise, home to many 19th century painters including Cézanne and Van Gogh. Walking the streets of this peaceful and charming little town, you would never know you're so close to Paris. With its serene charm and proximity to the city, it's no wonder why resident Vincent Van Gogh loved his home right until the end of his life.

In Rouen, Normandy's historic capital, you'll find the Gros Horloge astronomical clock. It's been a source of pride for the people of Rouen since it was built in the 16th century. The clock has two sides: one facing East and one facing West, each with a different colored face. It sits atop a Renaissance archway that spans the busy street of rue du Gros-Horloge, greeting all who walk underneath with remarkable sculptures to admire.
