Step outside, take a deep breath in, and look towards the mountains - you’re in the big sky country of Montana, now. Explore both the Northern and Southern Loops of Yellowstone National Park, and visit Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone’s Grand Canyon, and more. Venture to Helena, the “Queen City of the Rockies.” Cruise on the Missouri River through the Gates of the Mountains, named by legendary explorers Lewis and Clark. Spend time in the mountain town of St. Mary Village before heading in to explore Glacier National Park. Take an adventurous white water rafting trip or a calm, scenic float down the Flathead River. Meet a descendant of the last Kootenai chief and learn about the importance of the land in native life. Get a glimpse into the heroic and dangerous life of a Smokejumper. A land of wilderness, adventure, and beauty, Montana is waiting for you.
The sights were awesome, saw lots of bison, would like to have seen more wildlife!! Weather was unseasonably warm very agreeable. Had a great time

Great tour! Eric the tour manager was very knowledgeable about the area and history of the area. I think we covered the entire state which is so beautiful.
The accommodation were comfortable some with a flair of the area. Food in every place was delicious.
There were a few memorable tour experiences some of which were the Red Bus tour, Glacier National Park, and whitewater rafting.
I would definitely recommend Collette and this tour of Montana to all my friends. Montana is a state of nature’s beauty.

Misleading tour itinerary with no agent to greet us and no Welcome Board. Experienced park ranger tour guide arrived end of Day 1. Only one city tour (Helena) with most hotels far from city center or not up to standard expected. Had to use Uber (not cheap) to visit Museum of the Rockies (Bozeman) and Door Dash for $30 pizza dinner in Helena on Labor Day as Double-Tree hotel and nearly all restaurants were closed. Yellowstone & Glacier Nat'l Park views were hazy from wildfires. Saw only a few bison, 2 elk, and no bear. Saw no animals on "Scenic" 2 hour boat "option" which was actually a pontoon raft sitting in cold water up to your ankles. Either option was pre-paid so hard to skip. Upon arrival, transfer vehicle had a huge horizontal cracked front windshield "to be fixed on Friday". What a way to start. Very memorable trip for all the wrong reasons. Just glad to go home.

We had a very knowledgeable, experienced and enthusiastic guide. Her knowledge of Yellowstone based on her work there gave us a very good insight into geology, animal life, forestry and the Park Service responsibilities.
There were only a few tours that could be changed or eliminated. The "Gates of Heaven" boat ride was too long, too hot and too crowded.
One other tour worth mentioning is the luncheon and information session given by a Native American woman. After reading about her family and their success we think it would have been so informative for her to talk about
the family businesses - they own and run hotels and other accommodations on Glacier Lake. We'd like to learn about how they got started in business, what hurdles they had to overcome, etc.

Visiting the State Capital on a Sunday, the visit to the Cathedral and to St. Ignatius were perfect. Also the lunch and history lesson at the Camp ground.
The barbecue dinner with the raft crew. And all the huckleberry ice cream.

Booked this tour to see Montana and Glacier National Park. The highlight was the Red Jammer Tour on the Going to the Sun Road starting at St. Mary's East Entrance and ending at the Lake McDonald Lodge. Weather and scenery were breathtaking. Other highlights of the tour were seeing Yellowstone for my second time, cruising the Missouri River at the Gates of the Rocky Mountains, visiting the Buffalo Jump and learning more about the Lewis & Clark Expedition.
My first Collette Tour. While the Tour Manager was good with tour logistics, he was very light on providing information about where we were going and information about the locations we visited. A bit of a disappointment!
What truly made this a good tour were the lovely and well traveled people who made up the tour group.
