Overall, the trip was very good. The hotel was was very nice, comfortable and clean and a good location. I wish there had been more included meals for two reasons....1. it allows people to get to know each other faster and 2. it makes the dining experience much more authentic. It was very disappointing that the Carnival was cancelled, but I know that is not Collette's fault. Some of the markets we went to were really very junky and it would have been nice to have had our boat ride in a much nicer boat. Although we visited a lot of places I felt like a lot of our free time was left wandering and shopping and although I love to shop I would have liked to have known more things we could have seen. For example, one place we stopped had a free Santon museum and also the Fragonand sp?? museum, we did walk through them but that was just because we stumbled upon them. Our guide was wonderful, the bus trips were wonderful, there were just some days that I wish the content had been more of an cultural experience.

Not enough local tours guides like with the Italian Riviera one last year. Italian Riviera one on a scale of 1 - 10, an 11 on everything including our tour manager. This trip 1 - 10, a 5 including the tour manager. We only had one local guide who I can't remember the name who walked us through old Nice. She was very good and helpful. I give her a 10. Not so much the tour manager.
The bus was excellent as well as the driver. The limousine accommodations were top notch.
Had problems with getting replies from Jason Gomes when trying to get information on adding Paris extension. Once I said it was RUDE not to get any replies as we were in anticipation, trying to book a tour of Monet's Home and Garden. We were in danger of this day tour getting fully booked. The tour was very good and the tour manager was excellent. The trip to the gardens at the Villa Ephrussi de Rothchild was one of the highlights as well as the visit to the Fragonard Perfumery where we learned how perfume is made. One of the best features of this tour is that a lot of free time to explore was factored into the itinerary. It also was very helpful that on the first full day of the trip we were given transit cards and taken as a group on the tram to be shown how easy it is to use public transportation to get around in Nice. Many members of the group took advantage of the tram and bus to visit sites that were not part of the itinerary. For this reason the location of the hotel was excellent.

We got to use our train cards which came in handy for getting around in free time and the tour of old town was also helpful in navigating the city. All the treats that were provided on the tour were much appreciated too. We really had nothing to complain about . The guide pointed us tin the right direction to catch the bus to the Matisse and Chagall Museums which were wonderful. Because of a very rainy day in Monaco we had a change of plans and opted to visit The Oceanographic Museum. What an amazing experience and we were thinking it would be just like the aquariums at home. It was so much more than that. I think the itinerary should provide a more detailed description . We were very impressed especially with the immersion exhibit and if it hadn’t been for the weather we wouldn’t have known what we missed! Thank you for a memorable trip made even better because it included transportation from The FloGris to and from the airport. Gail was a delight.

This was by far the best tour I’ve experienced! Our tour guide was excellent, and the daily agenda took us to some of the most beautiful places on earth! The exception was Monte Carlo. If you didn’t want to gamble - and virtually no one did, there was no place to go and nothing to do. The only shops were high end, catering to the exceedingly rich.
If our hotel had had air conditioning, it would have been perfect. But nights were miserable, even with the fan we got from the hotel and the patio doors cracked open in hopes of a breeze. Otherwise, we were in a perfect location, close to the beach, old town, restaurants, and shops!
Depending on the accommodations - AC is a must! - I’d go on this trip a second time in a heart beat!

We foung the tours rough and not for Senior Citzens. The two tours we were on the alloted free time could have been shorter, Although we some what enjoyed Monaco. and why the Casino was part of the tour was not enjoyable for us.

The scenery was beautiful I loved the open air markets in each city-St, Tropez being my least favorite I did not go the Cannes as Petra though the trip would be too strenuous for me. But I enjoyed the extra day in Nice, taking a spa day at the Spa Splendid.

The overall tour was excellent as it hit all of the major towns that we were interested in. Hard to say a favorite as they were all amazing but probably our day in Cannes and Antibes as well as the tour of the Rothschild estate was our favorite.

Had my 88-year old mother and I had any idea about how active and demanding this trip was --- we would never have signed up. It was much too physically demanding for her, and she struggled to keep up.
I, myself, had no problem with the activity level, and would have thoroughly enjoyed the trip, had I not been worried about my mother.
I would definitely travel again with Collette --- but, urge you to ensure that the trip fitness requirements are made very clear from the beginning.
