Tour was fun and entertaining. Tour manager was very informative and kept us entertained even through our bus rides. Visiting the castles was the highlight of the tour for us. The restaurants picked out by Colette were delicious and different. The hotels were comfortable and each was different in its own way. All and all we would use Colette again.

Our tour manager Ian Ritchie was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and on top of everything. The local tour guides were the best that I have experienced. I really enjoyed the pace of the tour. Two of the hotels in the Highlands were disappointing, especially the hotel in Wicks. The hotels in Inverness and Edinburgh were wonderful. I would have liked to spend another day in Inverness.

It was an immersive experience and was just an incredible journey . The amazing resilience of the Scottish people thru the centuries was humbling. Our tour manager was very accommodating and great at making recommendations for our own explorations! My favorite experience was at the Rosslyn Chapel near Edinburgh. The craftsmanship of the architecture was incredible and very beautiful.

The wonderful locals we met along the way. Seeing how kind Scottish people are even reflected in there traffic signs. I loved how my granddaughter was able to go out at night with the local hotel staff knowing they would make sure she was returned safely to the hotel. (She is 27 yrs old and the younger front desk folks and their friends made her evenings so much better for her instead of retiring early like grandma.

Our tour manager Amber was fantastic. Her stories and information of Scotlands history was very good. It inspired me to look up some of the information after I got home. We had a nice variety of tours and places to visit. The time really flew by, wish I had had a few more days to see more of the country. I really enjoyed the tours of the castles and churches. I love the architecture. The weather was perfect. I would highly recommend this tour as a favorite of mine.

I loved the London, Cornwall and Devon portions of the tour and liked the Cotswolds. The outdoor tours both at Dartmoor National Park walking across the moors and Botallack feeling the wind on the coast while looking out to sea were visually stunning and so fully immersive thanks to our amazing guides. I could have spent a week at Bovie Castle.

This tour gave so many memorable moments it is impossible to narrow it down. The smallest most insignificant stops ended up being spectacular. I thought Bathe was a useless visit, I was wrong, it was incredible. York, just a stop between two major cities was my favorite place with such interesting living history. The Shambles were so cool, I loved being there. There was nothing I did not enjoy. Our afternoon Tea in London was so elegant. I never thought Tea could be so special. Norman Greene our tour manager was awesome. His insight helped us to understand the culture and history of the places we visited, which made everything more interesting and enjoyable. His recommendations for our down times were very helpful. He was absolutely the best. I am not a brave person, but I kissed The Blarney Stone, amazing. I never heard of The Rock of Cashel, but what an amazing sight and history. This trip is truly worth while and I would recommend it to anyone with any interest at all. Thank You Norman.

Tour was outstanding! Norman, our tour Manager went out of his way to ensure details were attended to. The Whiskey experience and the afternoon tea experience were beyond anything I imagined that they would be. Our Driver, Tommy, was masterful getting us where we were going through tight turns and narrow roads. The individual tour guides were excellent. Rather than naming a favorite event, I will say this. The history, beauty, and majesty that came to life, the emersive experiences like the farm, Cawl (traditional Scottish soup) in Cowbrige, the magnificent tea experience at the Claremont, the Irish dance and song event at the Belvidere and Norman telling stories and singing Irish folk songs are and will always be etched in my heart. Even after the tour was over, Norman was there for my wife and I offering sincere encouragement when our flight home had an engine bird strike necessitating that the plane return to Dublin and ultimately being cancelled. Norman was up in the wee hours of the morning seeing us off long before he had to be up and out. Thank you so much Norman for your kind attention and all the many things you added to this tour! The gent we worked with setting up the trip, Kessler, was outstanding as well.

Luciana Belviso was an excellent, charming, organized tour manager. She was flexible when people made other arrangements for the day. Knowing the routes, she was able to have us stop at Bath for a bit; a nice addition. The local guides were also good and knowledgeable. The rolling landscape is unrepeated any place. I have been to sections of SW England before, some repeated here. I very much enjoyed the stops at the small towns and villages. ohoto -- Cornwall coast.

Our Tour Manager Gail's kindness, knowledge, communication, organization, patience and attentiveness made this one of the best travel experiences ever! Thanks also to Martin Mayer who arranged an amazing tour of the Rolls-Royce factory.

The tour guide was very friendly and engaged. The itinerary was very good although i would have liked to have stopped at St. Andrews. I did enjoy all the stops along the trip. The Castle in Inverness should be added as an included stop. The Castles renovation was amazingly completed. The final stop in Endinburgh was all I expected and more. The season was perfect.

The Strand Palace is not a good hotel to stay in. The rooms are too small for the money spent. I paid for a superior room. There is nothing superior about a tiny room that you can't even open your suitcase in. ANd to be charged 50 pounds more to upgrage my room is not acceptable. One of our members paid half of what we paid for the same room. The service is very poor. I had clothing items missing from my room. I would never stay in that hotel again. Indigo was just fine to stay in. Marty did a wonderful job and Gail was such an absolute delight!!!!!!!!!!

Seeing the sights

Loved your and experiences at Rolls Royce in Goodwood.

The tour covers a lot of Scotland and provides a great overview of the country. If you want to spend a lot of time in one or 2 places, this is not the tour for you. Hard to pin down 1 favorite experience but the sheepdog demonstration on the sheep farm was amazing.

The Collette Discover Scotland tour met and exceeded its title. The 9 days were packed with variety, information, comeradery, and beauty. Amber (the tour leader) provided the exact amount of direction and made us feel a part of the Scotland spirit and history. Starting at Glasgow, we made a look all the way up the west to Orkney Island it the North and back to Edinburgh on the southeast. Each stop and activity contributed a piece of the entire puzzle and gave each of us a chance to make the trip personal. The practicality of Glasgow, beauty of Isle of Skye, majesty of the Highlands, adventure of Skara Brae, the Standing stones, the solemnity of Culloden, the excitement of Inverness, and the ethos of Edinburgh built a wonderful kaleidoscope of emotion, sound, and spirit. The lodgings also provided a variety of historic grandeur, practical necessity, and modern convenience. One of my personal best moment was roaming the mist during the early morning at Loch Linnhe ... but there were many other unforgettable and cherished times.

Colette tours are wonderful. We saw castles, cruised on Loc Ness, toured a distillery, and pet Highland cows. We had a terrific time.
