Guided United Kingdom Tours

We had a fantastic time seeing the country of Scotland plus learning it's history and culture. We had a lot of fun with other people on the tour.

This was a truly great tour. Our Tour Manager, Amber, was amazing. Her knowledge of Scottish history was impressive, especially the way she was able to tell stories that humanized it and brought it to life. For a relatively short tour, we saw a great deal. Our bus driver, Mark, was excellent. I was also impressed with the accommodations on this tour. Our last experience wasn't very good so I was a little apprehensive about this one, but I was very happy with every hotel. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time! There were so many memorable experiences, it was an adventure through Scotland and the highlands were beautiful. I only wish we could of stayed 1 more night in Inverness. Would of liked to explored that city and area a bit more.

With the narration of our tour guide Mojca, every bus ride every train ride was a constant learning adventure., All our activities and dinners were timed perfectly. Every excursion and meal was delicious, special and exciting. Attention to detail in by all of our dinning experiences were meet with approval. A trip of a lifetime !!!We met so many amazing friends on our bus guided trips. (37) riding on a bus was even a pleasant experience. Would definitely plan another trip with Collette.

Edinburgh with our own added days was great. The rest of the tour gave us a good picture of the country in general. We enjoyed many different experiences in various areas of Scotland.

The trip was excellent and it covers several cities and countries.

This trip was all I could have hoped for and more. Ian (tour manager) and Terry (driver) were excellent.

The entire tour was excellent. Our tour manager was amazing and the organization of the entire trip was first class. It was hectic and packed with wonderful sights. We covered lots of Europe!!

All was good

Overall it was a wonderful experience. The tour inclusions were all very nice giving a range of activities that included town's local sites, food, history, culture, and customs. There was a balance of activities and free time. The Military Tattoo was breathtaking along with the festival in Edinburgh going on at the same time. The experience at the sheep farm was excellent, with the dogs and lunch.

We had a small group and everyone made friends, it was really nice. Our Tour Guide was wonderful. She was so knowlegable. We went to wonderful restaurants that were included on the trip and our guide gave us great recommendations for meals when they weren't included. It was also nice to not have to drive, the roads are narrow and parking is difficult. The tour was a good pace and we never felt rushed.

We had a grand time. This quick sampling of the UK inspires us to take another, more leisurely, trip. Thank you

Absolutely loved our tour guide, Laura Goodman. She was extremely knowledgeable; her stories and historical facts made the tour so much more meaningful to everyone. Laura was so kind and helpful to those who needed extra assistance. Wouldn't hesitate doing another tour with her.

I would recommend this tour to anyone. But, there are a couple of items that a potential traveler should know in advance. First, there is a lot of time spent on the bus. The countryside is beautiful but we would have liked to have had a more active tour. The excursion to the Isle of Skye felt particularly brief with little free time outside the bus. Second, some of the accommodations are REALLY small. So take Collette’s warnings about that to heart. The tour manager and the bus driver were fantastic. And the people of Scotland were welcoming and fun to be around.

Everything was superb. The tour guide, the coach and driver, the accommodations, the food, all fabulous. The places we visited were historic and so interesting. The high point for me was the military tattoo.

This tour included an entertaining visit to a distillery (great host there); a day on the stunning Orkneys with visits to neolithic sites; a fascinating introduction to the history of bagpipes and demonstration of the challenge of playing one; the opportunity to watch well-trained sheep dogs do their work with a skilled shepherd (who actually hypnotized a ram before shearing it!); and of course the superb evening at Edinburgh Castle watching the magnificent bands from around the world perform.
